Where It All Began

Prior to opening Dan Gilroy Design, Dan worked for ten plus years as a Tax Legislative Affairs Specialist in Washington, D.C. for two of North America's most prestigious and largest law firms: Patton Boggs LLP and White & Case LLP. Dan also had the privilege to work in smaller boutique law firms in Washington, D.C. and Portland, Oregon. Making the leap from the marbled halls of Congress to law firm website designer was not as radical as it may seem as Dan long had an interest in computers and had designed websites for friends and family prior to starting his own business.

As a result of his rich work experience, Dan understands attorneys, what they do and how they do it. The beneficiary of this experience is Dan's clients. They get a web designer who knows what they do, the culture in which they operate, their issues and obstacles. Dan's client base is diverse. He has built websites for large firms in Southern California to small and medium sized law practices in Washington and Oregon. His business continues to grow as evidenced by the inquiries his receives from lawyers and law firms throughout the United States.

All In The Family

Dan Gilroy comes from a family with a deep and rich legal background. Dan's late father, Patrick D. Gilroy, was a circuit court judge in Oregon for over 30 years and he has three brothers who practice law as well.

Dan grew up in Portland, Oregon, worked for 16 years in Washington, D.C following college, then moved back to Portland where he presently resides with his lovely wife and their two active toddlers.
