Dan Gilroy Design | AboutBuilding Websites for LawyersDan
Gilroy has been in the business of designing web sites for lawyers, law firms
and attorneys since 2004. He actually began developing web sites back in the
late 1990s From the Internal Revenue Code to Source CodeDan's life as a web designer started after a somewhat lengthy stint working in Washington, DC. A Portland, Oregon native, Dan moved to Washington, DC following college to intern for the U.S. Senate Finance Committee which was chaired at the time by his state Senator Bob Packwood (R-Oregon). That internship led to a job as a Hearing Clerk for the Committee, a job Dan held for three years, including two years under the helm of the late Lloyd Bentsen (D-Texas). Following his stint on Capitol Hill, Dan moved to the private sector where, over the course of the next thirteen years, he roamed the marbled halls of Washington as a Tax Legislative Affairs Specialist for two law firms: Patton Boggs, LLP and White & Case, LLP. Why Web Design for Lawyers? To Dan, it made sense to offer his web design skills to lawyers, law firms, and attorneys. He has been working with attorneys his entire professional career, and has lived with them all his life. His dad is a former Oregon circuit court judge, and Dan has three brothers who practice law in the Portland area. From your perspective, Dan is unique in that you probably won’t find another web designer with as much hands-on law firm experience as Dan. The benefit to you is that you won’t have to worry about bringing Dan up to speed on legal processes or law firm culture. * * * If you would like to set up a meeting to discuss your web project, or
