Direct responsibility, supported by specialist depth

Dan Gilroy, founder of Dan Gilroy Design

Dan Gilroy Design is a specialist studio that has created websites exclusively for law firms since 2004. The model combines direct senior leadership with defined roles in strategy, visual design, custom WordPress development, and launch.

Dan leads every engagement. He manages strategy, content planning, design direction, and the decisions that connect those parts of the project. Longtime collaborators take responsibility for their specialties, and the proposal identifies the approved scope, schedule, and fees before work begins.

That structure supports projects with very different levels of complexity. A multi-office firm may need input from firm leadership, marketing, administrators, and attorneys across several practices. A focused practice or mediator may need a shorter decision path. In either case, the studio establishes who needs to review positioning, content, design, and technical decisions so the project can move without losing accountability.

The perspective behind this work began inside legal organizations. After college, Dan spent sixteen years in Washington, D.C., working in policy and government affairs. Three of those years were with the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance. The next thirteen were at White & Case and Patton Boggs (now Squire Patton Boggs), where he worked as a legislative affairs specialist alongside attorneys.

Since 2004, the studio has built more than 300 websites for law firms, mediators, and arbitrators. Review the selected work, see how regional requirements shape Florida law firm website design, read about the working process, or see the experience described in the studio’s client reviews.
