About the firm
Hicks Thomas is a Houston litigation firm with more than forty attorneys working across business, tort, energy, and environmental disputes. The redesign needed to make a large attorney and practice library easy to navigate without making the firm feel institutional.
The new site groups related practices, gives attorneys and news more visible routes, and uses a responsive editorial layout that supports the firm’s active trial practice. Dan Gilroy Design handled design, WordPress development, content migration, and launch preparation.

Strong credentials with too many equal priorities
The prior homepage established the firm as Texas trial lawyers, but its very large attorney menu and broad practice presentation placed dozens of choices at the same level. The depth was real, yet the route from reputation to the right lawyer or service required more scanning than it should.
After
A clearer route through a large trial practice
The new site keeps the firm’s scale and litigation range while tightening the primary navigation, grouping practices more clearly, and giving current news a visible role. The result is faster to scan on desktop and mobile without making a substantial firm feel smaller than it is.
