San Francisco mediation website design launched for The Hon. Paul L. Beeman (Ret.).

The Hon. Paul L. Beeman (Ret.) has launched a new mediation website created by Dan Gilroy Design. The San Francisco-based mediator has settled hundreds of cases since becoming a full-time mediator and arbitrator in 2018 and needed a modern website to showcase his experience and expertise.

The Bay Area mediator market is competitive, so we needed to create a website that stands out among the rest. Beeman Mediation meant combining a bold color palette, images, text, and messaging to create a beautiful website that strikes the right tone and makes a great first impression (see screenshot below).

Judge Beeman served nearly eighteen years as Presiding Judge and Supervising Civil Judge of the Solano County Superior Court and was the Court’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee chairman for 12 years. He specializes in settling cases involving personal injury, product liability, employment, real estate, construction defect, insurance, professional malpractice, CEQA, complex asbestos litigation, and toxic tort claims.

Before serving on the bench, Judge Beeman spent over 26 years as a trial lawyer in private practice. He tried more than 30 civil and criminal jury trials and arbitrated and mediated more than 150 cases.

With that much private practice and judicial experience, we needed a web page to display it all. The challenge for us was to showcase it all in a way that didn’t look too busy. On the bio page, we included several distinct content modules to aid the user’s understanding of the primary content pieces of the page. This allows the user to quickly scan the page and then focus on a specific content section (see screenshot below).
